If you have been following my journey as Bluishmuse, you would be familiar with the fact that it has not only been a creative process but also a spiritual one. Most of the designs/artworks thus far have been created either organically as art therapy or inspired by the experiences during this growth of mine in one way or the other. Here is some stuff with the inspiration as Chakras.
The Sanskrit word Chakra literally translates to wheel or disk. In yoga, this term refers to wheels of energy throughout the body. There are seven main chakras, which align the spine, starting from the base of the spine through to the crown of the head.
The Root Chakra or The Muladhara is the chakra of stability, security, and our basic needs. It encompasses the first three vertebrae, the bladder, and the colon. When this chakra is open, we feel safe and fearless. It is symbolized as a four-petaled lotus.
The Sacral Chakra or The Svadhisthana Chakra is our creativity. It is located below the navel area and is responsible for our creative expression. It is symbolised as a six-petaled lotus.
The Solar Plexus Chakra or The Manipura means lustrous gem and it’s the area from the navel to the breastbone. The solar plexus chakra is our source of personal power. It is symbolised as a ten-petaled lotus.
Located at the heart center, The Heart Chakra or The Anahata serves as a bridge between our body, mind, emotions, and spirit. This chakra is our source of love and connection. It is represented as a circular flower with twelve green petals.
The Throat Chakra or The Vishuddha is located in the area of the throat. This is our source of verbal expression and the ability to speak our highest truth. This chakra includes the neck, thyroid, and parathyroid glands, jaw, mouth, and tongue. It is represented with 16 petals.
The Third Eye Chakra or The Ajna is located in between the eyebrows. Ajna is our center of intuition. We all have a sense of intuition but we may not listen to it or heed its warnings. Focus on opening this chakra will help you hone this ability. It is symbolised by a lotus with two petals.
The Crown Chakra or The Sahasrara is located at the crown of the head. This is the chakra of enlightenment and spiritual connection to our higher selves, others, and ultimately, to the divine. It is located at the crown of the head. It is symbolized by a lotus with one thousand petals.
